Insulate per ADA 4.19.4all exposed lavatories drain piping, hot/cold stops and Supplies. Protectors shall conform to UPC/IAPMO PS 94-2001A. Protectors will consist of FDA 21 CRF 17.1550 Clear transparent molded, closed cell PVC. Protector will be a One-Piece design, made of Clear PVC for increased security to prevent hiding of contraband and provide instant visual inspections for maintenance. Protector shall have no overlapping hubs or internal multi-ribs for increased transparency. Protector shall have weep hole at bottom of J-bend to provide for condensation drainage and air circulation. Protectors must be secured by Heavy-Duty, Self-Locking Snap Fasteners for permanent and safe fit option and to deter theft and/or injury.
